The Italian company ODE was founded in 1960 in the small town of Esino Lario, which is located in the northern part of Italy. And for 50 years the company has not ceased to improve, develop and meet all the requirements of the modern industrial equipment market. Today, ODE is a leading company in the field of design, production and sales of solenoid (solenoid, swelling) valves. In its early days, ODE positioned itself as a supplier of high-precision mechanical parts. And today it is a leading manufacturer and developer of modern solenoid valves. The rapid development of the Italian manufacturer could not go unnoticed and in 2004 one of the world’s active companies (DeFond company) acquired part of the shares of ODE. By this time, the Italian company had acquired a more powerful and modern plant, which was located in the city of Colico, which is even further north than Esino Lario. To date, ODE’s cooperation with global companies has made the Italian plant one of the leading players on the world stage. The ODE company stands out from its competitors in a number of areas of its activity, such as: Research and development The ODE company has its own 3D CAD design laboratory, in which specialists design electromagnetic valves and conduct various types of tests on ready-made design samples. Production The modern production workshop is equipped with a wide range of industrial machines, which gives the Italian manufacturer a number of advantages, including high productivity, quality and precision manufacturing of the equipment. The assembly of solenoid valves, along with robotic assembly, which is increasingly being introduced into the production cycle, at the plant there is also manual assembly of that part of the shut-off solenoid valves that need to be produced on special order or in small batches. Testing of finished products Tests of various kinds and nature represent the final stage of production. ODE has a modern testing laboratory that allows for mechanical, electromagnetic, climatic, pneumohydraulic and other types of tests. In 1997, ODE received the ISO 9001 quality certificate, which was subsequently renewed in 2003 and 2008.
