A tee is a fitting that allows three pipes to be connected. The product is made of special brass that is resistant to zinc leaching, does not oxidize and does not lose strength over time. The smooth internal surface creates almost no hydraulic resistance, without reducing the efficiency of the system. The fitting is compatible with steel, metal-plastic, and polyethylene pipes.
Some brass tees have protective coatings based on nickel and chromium — this increases the price, but seriously extends the service life of products in aggressive environments. Such options tolerate strong heat and abrasive effects well. Coated brass tees are recommended for purchase when pipelines are laid open — the surface is easy to clean and looks great.
